Granddad, husband, father, child of God, Bible scholar, lover of God’s creation.

I have been a professor of the New Testament for many years. I taught for six years in the Philippines and for the past two decades in Redding, California. My life mission is to celebrate God’s handiwork in the light of God’s Word. My vision is to see people trust the living God.

I am an avid kayaker and woodworker and also enjoy gardening, bird watching, photography, and any activity related to the outdoors.

I have a dear wife Lynn and three grown children. My grandsons are Keller Jackson and Augustine James (aka Augie).
